Mahinda College beat St. John’s to enter final

Mahinda College, Galle defeated St. Sebastian's College, Moratuwa on points in their inter school under 13 division one cricket tournament semi finals at St. Johns College grounds Panadura. By vertue of this victory Mahindians are through to the finals against D. S. Senanayaka Vidyalaya, Colombo. Batting first Sebs were all out for 142 runs with Chithru Fernando and Tyrell Baskaran scoring 41 and 37 runs respectively. Dilakshana Fernando too contributed 35 runs and Hiruna Mandila bowled best for the visitors with 3 for 31. In reply when the game came to a halt due to bad light Mahindians were 50 for no loss with Danoja Induwara scoring an unbeaten 41 runs.

Sebs into U-13

Div.III 5th round

St. Sebastian's College, Moratuwa beat Lalith Athulathmudali College Mt. Lavinia by two wickets to enter the fifth round of the under 13 division three cricket tournament played at Moratuwa.

Batting first visitors were all out for 157 runs and in reply Sebs made 159 for 8 with Naveesh Fernando

unbeaten on 67 runs and Mohamed Favaz captured 3 for 13.
