Ten teams for Inter-Club Sevens Rugby Tourney

The Inter-Club Invitational Sevens Rugby Tournament jointly hosted by the Tri-Forces and Sri Lanka Police will be held on October 30 and 31 at the Police Park in Bambalapitiya.

Army, Navy, Air Force along with Police will field two teams each while Havelock SC and the CH and FC will participate with a team each.

Pool-A consists of four teams while Pool-B and Pool-C will comprise three teams each. The first eight teams will qualify for the quarter-finals and the winners will be eligible to play for the Cup and Plate semi-finals.

The losers in the quarter-finals will play for the Bowl and Shield semi-finals respectively.

The draw

Pool ‘A’: CH and FC, Army-A, Air Force-B, Navy-B.
Pool ‘B’: Police-A, Havelock SC, Army Colts,
Pool ‘C’: Air Force-A, Navy-A, Police Griffins.
