SLR grant permission for Warriors Cup

Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) has granted permission to conduct the Warriors Cup Inter-Club Sevens Rugby Tournament on October 30 and 31 at the Police Park in Bambalapitiya.

The Warriors Cup Sevens Tournament will have 10 teams participating with Army, Navy, Air Force and Police fielding two teams each while Havelock SC and CH and FC will field one team each.

The first round will be played on a league basis and the knock-out stage will be worked off on the second day.

The teams

Group A: CH and FC, Army A, Air Force B, Navy B. Group B: Police A, Havelock SC, Army Colts. Group C: Air Force A, Navy A, Police Griffins.
