Namibia storm into Super 12 with stunning win

Namibia secured their place in the ICC T20 World Cup Super 12 when they recorded a stunning eight-wicket win over Ireland in their Group ‘A’ last league match played at the Sharjah Stadium in the United Arab Emirates yesterday.

Namibia produced an outstanding bowling performance to restrict their opponents to 125 for eight with Jan Frylinck returning excellent figures of three for 21.

In reply, Namibia reached their target in the 19th over following some tremendous batting from Gerhard Erasmus (53 n.o) and Player-of-the-Match David Wiese.
