Rain spoils Under-19 Cricket

Heavy rain washed out all Inter-Schools Under-19 Cricket Tournament matches, which were scheduled to commence in Colombo yesterday.

The inaugural Big Match between Wesley College and St. Benedict’s College was called off at Kotahena without a ball being bowled.

In addition, the traditional two-day match between Isipatana College and Nalanda College was also called off at Campbell Place. (D.R)
