Sri Lanka Army together with Motor Racing Association are expected to conduct ‘Kukule Ganga Speed Hill climb ‘which is scheduled to to be held on April 10 and 11 at the newly built motor racing track at Kukule Ganga Army camp. The Army gave their maximum support to conduct motor racing events and for the first time they came forward to assist the Speed Hill Climb event which consists of a 900 metres track.

The track which includes seven bends is always a big challenge for the riders . According to the Army Motor Sports Committee President and Sri Lanka Army Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) Major General Wasantha Madola this Speed Hill Climb consists of ten motorcycle events and 17 motor car events .

The participation in the events is very high with 100 motor cyclists and more than 125 motor drivers expected to take part in this event.

In addition, four events for the old motor cars will make it more colourful Hutch Sri Lanka Company is the main sponsor of this event

The motor cycle events will be conducted on the first day on April 10 while on the second day on April 11th Motor Car events will be conducted at this track.
