Gurukula well placed at Kotahena

Gurukula College, Kelaniya were well set to build up a good first innings lead over St. Benedict’s College in their Inter-Schools Under-19 traditional cricket encounter which commenced at Kotahena yesterday.

The Benedictines were shot out for 118 runs in their first innings with Vihanga Iranjana claiming a five-wicket haul and the visitors ended at 176 for four in reply.
