Gamindu Tennakoon excels in rowing

Gamindu Tennakoon (19) representing the Colombo Rowing Club won the gold medal in the Intermediate Sculls event at the Sri Lanka National Rowing Championship 2021 recording a timing of 7:39:04 beating the Open Sculls event Champion and other oarsmen representing the Tri Forces.

Gamindu is a second year coloursman and the current Vice Captain of Royal College Rowing Club.

The Senior Rowing Nationals were held at the Diyawannawa Rowing Centre
