Dharmasoka stun St. Peter’s by five-wickets

Skipper Lohan de Soyza produced a fine all-round performance as Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda recorded stunning five-wicket win over St. Peter’s College, Bambalapitiya in their Under-19 Division One Tier ‘B’ quarter-final match played at the Galle Stadium yesterday.

The Peterites won the toss and elected to bat first and they were restricted to 153 for nine in their allotted 40 overs while Dharmasoka reached their target with eight balls to spare.

Meanwhile, Skipper Saviru Bandara and Maoshada Fernando took three wicket each as Ananda College beat St. Anthony’s College, Wattala by five wickets in their Division One Tier ‘B’ quarter-final game played at Bambalapitiya yesterday.
