Boxing coaches camp in Kandy

The Boxing Coaches Association of Sri Lanka (BCASL) will be organising a two-day workshop for boxing coaches on April 24 and 25 in Kandy.

This training camp, scheduled for 2020, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The BCASL has obtained the approval of the Public Health Instructor in the relevant area to conduct a training camp at the National Development Association in Kundasale, Kandy.

Participant should register for the coaching camp before 8.30 a.m. on April 24.

Amendment to the rules and regulations of the international boxing association (AIBA) in dealing with international competitions will be discussed.

The key lecturers during the course are AIBA Instructor and President of the Boxing Referees and Judges Association Capt. (Rtd) R. K. Indrasena and AIBA 3-star Referee Rukman Wekadapola.
