St. Anthony’s College will take on St. Peter’s College in their Inter-Schools Under-19 traditional two-day cricket encounter starting at Bambalapitiya today.
Both sides are equally balanced and the team batting first will have the advantage over their opponents.
The Antonians, with their formidable batting line-up will strive to build up a good total with the help of Gihan Ebert, Nimnaka Jayathilake, Chamindu Wickremasinghe, Asitha Wanninayake, Mohammed Kamil and Tharindu Lamahewage.
The Antonian bowling will be in the hands of Chandimal Herath and Anjala Bandara who have shown good form this season.
The Peterites also have a solid batting line-up with Skipper Nipunaka Fonseka in tremendous form while the bowling will be spearheaded by Wanuja Kumara.
