The clash between SSC and Colts CC will be the pick of the matches when the SLC Twenty20 Cricket Tournament quarter-finals gets underway in Colombo today.
The SSC finished on top of Group ‘C’ with four victories and just one defeat in the preliminary round while Colts CC were placed second in Group ‘B’ with three wins and two defeats.
This match will be played at the CCC Grounds in Maitland Crescent.
Meanwhile, the unbeaten CCC will face an acid test when they take on Ragama CC in their quarter fixture at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo.
Ragama CC and Tamil Union finished with eight points each but the former managed to secure the second place in Group ‘D’ after they had beaten the same opponents earlier during a preliminary round game.
Today’s quarter-final line-up:
CCC vs Ragama CC at P. Sara Oval, Army CC vs Negombo CC at CCC Grounds
SSC vs Colts CC at CCC Grounds, NCC vs Kurunegala YCC at P. Sara Oval
