The Major Limited Over Tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket(SLC) will commence on March 24 with the participation of 26 clubs. The clubs are slated into four groups with group ‘A’ and ‘D’ consisting of seven teams while the other two groups include six teams respectively.
The SLC has advised all playing clubs to complete the preliminary round matches before 5 April, after which the Quarter finals are scheduled on April,7 where the top two teams in their respective groups, at the end of the preliminary round matches will qualify to compete in this stage. The Semi Finals are scheduled for April 9 while the grand final is fixed for April 11 hosted at neutral venues which will be notified later.
The defending champions are Chilaw Marians while NCC were runner-up.

Group ‘D’- SSC, Saracens SC, Colts CC, Moors SC, Kurunegala YCC, Police SC, Sebastinaites C and AC- (AN)
