Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa was felicitated by his alma mater S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia during a ceremony held at the College Auditorium.
The Sports Minister was presented with a framed jersey (No. 8) which he wore while playing for the college rugby team.
The Sports Minister in his Twitter message stated that he was truly honoured and humbled to be felicitated by his school.
"Some of my best memories and lessons I owe to S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia. To be recognised by my fellow Thomians was truly humbling and a memory I will cherish!” (A.N)
