The annual Maheepala Herath Challenge Trophy All-Island Ranking Table Tennis Tournament organised by the Kegalle District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) will be held on January 30 and 31 at the Kegalle Balika Vidyalaya Indoor Stadium.
This tournament is organised under the directive of the Sports Minister, Namal Rajapaksa and under the auspices of the Sports Ministry. Due to the prevailing Coronavirus outbreak in the country, doubles competitions will not be held and only the singles events will be worked off. Arrangements have been made to conduct the Women’s Singles on January 30 and the Men’s Singles on January 31.
Only players and coaches who are participating in the knock-out tournament are allowed to enter the tournament hall, as precautionary measure.
