Football coaching camp in Kattankudy, a success

A three-day soccer ‘D’ license coaching camp for young footballers selected within the Kattankudy DS division was conducted by Kattankudy Football League (KFL) at the Hisbullah Play Grounds in Kattankudy recently.

Under the guidance of Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) the sponsor of the programme is Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The objective of the programme is to encourage and promote young footballers from rural villages.

The coaching team consisted of Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) under 19 National team coach and coaching education instructor Sampath Perera and Assistant Instructor Theva Sagayan.

Kattankudy Football League (KFL) President M.M.Jaleel, Secretary M.A.Insath Ali, Treasurer S.M.Ramees Raja and about 30 coaches from Kattankudy Football League (KFL) participated at this coaching camp.

The participants were awarded certificates at the conclusion of camp at the ceremony held at the Hotel Beachway in Kattankudy.
