The athletic selection trials (open category) which was scheduled to be held on October 23,24,25 at Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo has been postponed due to the prevailing health situation in the country.
According to the Vice President of Sri Lanka Athletics G.L.S.Perera this decision was taken by the Sri Lankan Athletics Executive Committee after the Zoom technology meeting held yesterday. The new dates will be notified later.
Earlier Sri Lanka Athletics also planned to conduct Athletic National Championship in Colombo during the first week of December under health guidelines.
