Sports gear distributed in Thirukkovil

Sports gear was distributed at Kathiravan Sports Club in Thirukkovil recently. The ceremony was held at Divisional Secretariat, Thirukkovil.

This was presided by Thirukkovil Divisional Secretary S.Jegarasan.

The sports gear was handed over by the guest on this occasion Digamadulla District Parliamentarian Kavinthiran Kodeeswaran from his fund allocation.

Kodeeswaran conducted a programme to promote the players goodwill and sports activities in the area.

During the event, the chief guest Parliamentarian Kavinthiran Kodeeswaran handed over new jerseys to Kathiravan SC and Vinayagapura Minnoli SC.

Thirukkovil Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman E.V. Kamalarajan, Deputy Planning Director D. Mohanakumar, Accountant M. Arasaratnam, Secretary to Parliamentarian D. Surenthiran and Sports Club officials were also present at the event.
