Sheran Amindu Of St. Joseph Vaz College Wennappuwa has shown great promise as a budding cricketer. Continuing his great form he scored a 98 ball 134 with 14 boundaries and 4 towering sixes steering his team to a 455/9 against St.Xavier’s College, Marawila in a Singer Trophy Division One under 17 Cricket match at Albert Peiris grounds in Wennappuwa recently. In reply St Xaviers were bowled out for a mere 53 in 19.1 overs.
Sheran displayed his cricketing talent from a very young age and skippered the school under 13 team in 2014 and under-15 team in 2016.
