Royal and S. Thomas’ win

Royal College, Colombo beat Asoka College, Colombo by 120 runs in parabola system in the under 17 division one inter-school cricket tournament match played in Colombo.

Batting first Royalists declared at 233 for 9 with Sadeesha Rajapakse scoring 58 runs. In reply, Asoka Vidyalaya were all out for 104 with Dasun Manchanayake claiming 3 for 8.

In another game in the same age group and division, S. Thomas Mt. Lavinia beat Lumbini Vidyalaya, Colombo on the parabola system by 114 runs at Mount Lavinia.

Batting first, the Thomians made 242 for 8 with Yasiru Rodrigo and Ameesha Kamalachandra scoring 87 and 54 runs respectively. In reply, Lumbini were all out for 119.
