Maliyadeva College came from behind with a strong second half rally to steal victory over Sri Sumangala College by 26 points (three goals and a try) to 17 (one goal and two tries) in an inter school ‘Plate’ match played at the Bogambara Stadium yesterday.
Sri Sumangala side led at half time 17-7 and went down in the second half due to a superb performance by the Kurunegala school forwards which helped the Devans to pull off an impressive win.

Today at Nittawella, St. Anthony’s College will scrum down in their second Plate matct against Vidyartha College, which should be a closely contest encounter.
