LONDON, Friday – The International Cricket Council (ICC) has responded to Sri Lanka’s grievances which they had officially written to them seeking action.
Sri Lanka manager Ashantha de Mel said that officials of the ICC had come and met him and wanted sufficient proof of the allegations made in the letter to them.
“We are in the process of collecting proof to present to them like pictures of the pitches prepared for the Sri Lanka matches in comparison to other sides at venues we have played at Cardiff and the Oval where we are due to play Australia,” said De Mel.
Sri Lanka had complained officially to the ICC about the type of wickets prepared for their matches, the hotels and practice facilities and the transport provided for the team.
