He emerged player of the tour, his award was presented by legendary cricketer Sidath Wettamuny Chief Guest and the world's highest wicket taker Muttiah Muralitheran guest of honour during a gala dinner at the Kingsbury Colombo.
Renaldi Dias left for Australia from Dubai to join Deakin University, named in honour of Alfred Deakin a remarkable Australian statesman, Three times Prime Minister of Australia. Renaldi graduated with distintion in Commerce. He played cricket for Morabbin Cricket Club, his father Sujeewa Dias is a banker in Dubai, who captained St. Joseph College, Colombo Rugby team in 1989 Grandfather Telesphor Dias is awaiting for the D. Day to see Grandson wearing the Sri Lanka Cap.
