Defenders SC win Dialog league for second time

Defenders SC powered their way to a 3 goals to 1 win over Blue Stars SC Kalutara in the final of the Dialog league football championship played at the Sugathadasa Stadium yesterday.

MA Askoor Rahuman (2) and MNM Issadeen scored for the winners who led 2-1 at half time. Uwanaka Chinezie scored Blue Stars solitary goal. In the play-off for third place Colombo FC defeated Sri Lanka Navy 4-0. -BP
