A masterly knock of 161 runs by the Captain of Moratu Vidyalaya, under 19 Sri Lanka player, Inter-Provincial Cricketer and a poolist of Sri Lanka Emerging Cricket Nishan Madushka was the highlight of the drawn game against St. Joseph Vaz College Wennappuwa played at Moratuwa. However Vidyalians were able to take the major honours of this inter school first eleven cricket match by leading by 155 runs in the first essay.
He hit 14 fours and occupied the crease for 135 minutes and faced 185 balls and put on a second wicket partnership of 150 runs with Chamalka Pushpakumara who missed a well deserved half ton by three runs.
