Lyceum, Nugegoda wins cricket title

Lyceum International School, Nugegoda clinched the Inter International schools Under 19 cricket championship 2018 when they beat Lyceum International School Wattala by 60 runs in the finals played at Shalika Grounds Colombo. Batting first Lyceum Nugeogda scored 166 runs with Hansaja Bandara making the to score of 51 runs and in reply Lyceum Wattala were dismissed for 106runs with Ravindu Rajarathna claiming 4 for 30 runs and carried away the man of the match award. In the meantime the best Bastman of the tournament was awarded to Hansaja Bandara of Lyceum Nugegoda while Pasindu Rajapaksha of Lyceum Nugegoda wont eh best fielders award.

Lyceum Nugegoda 166 in 35.2 overs (Hansaja Bandara 51, Nipuna Hettiarachchi 24, Ravindu Rajaratne 38, Himanshan Hiroshan 2/22, Pasindu Fernando 2/36.

Lyceum Wattala 106 in 31 overs (Hasitha Gunasiri 31, Ravindu Rajarathna 4/30, Lakindu Rajarathna 16/2.
