A splendid 104 runs by Kamith Amerasinghe guided St. Johns College Nugegoda to defeat Seethawaka Central College by 125 runs on first innings in their inter school under 15 division three tournament cricket match conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and played at Moratuwa.
Kamith had twenty one hits to the rope and with this victory Nugegoda Johnians are through for the second round. Batting first visitors collapsed for 69 runs with Pasan Pivithuru claiming 4 for 4 and in reply Johnians scored 194 runs and at the close Visitors bounced back and scored 195 for 8 with Menath Gunasena and Dananjaya Saman Kumara scoring 57 and 61 runs respectively.
