Thomians advance to q’finals

Sri Lanka youth cap and left-arm paceman Kalana Perera took five wickets for 16 runs including a hat-trick to enable S. Thoma’s College Mt Lavinia beat DS Senanayake by 195 runs in a pre-quarterfinal match and advance to the quarterfinals of the ‘Singer Cup’ Under 19 inter-schools limited-overs knockout cricket tournament yesterday.

DS Senanayake were shot out for 50 chasing the Thomian total of 245.
