The 18th Sir Henry Steel Olcott Memorial Cricket tournament organized by the Old Boys Association of Dharmasoka College,Ambalangoda will be held from 15th to 17th of December,2017 at Ambalangoda Esplanade with the participation of Old Boys Cricket Teams of Ananda, Nalanda, Dharmaraja, Dharmapal, Dharmasoka, Maliyadeva, Rahula, Matara and Mahinda, Galle. Present cricket teams of these schools will have a separate cricket Tournament simultaneously.
As Ambalangoda Esplanade is under renovation, if that is not completed in time the Tournament will be shifted to Balapitiya Grounds. Former Sri lanka Test cricket Captain Bandula Warnapura, an Old Nalandian was instrumental in organising this Annual event through the Old Boys Association of Nalanda College in the year 1999. So far, Old Sokians of Ambalangoda have won eight tournaments in this annual event and Old Anandians have won six tournaments. Old Boys Cricket team of Dharmaraja College registered a solitary win in the year 2000 under D.D.P.Alwis.
