Anupa misses century by one run

The skipper of the under 15 division two cricket team of Prince of Wales College Anupa Heshan missed a well deserved century by a solitary run in their inter-school second round tournament cricket match played against Prince College, Ratnapura and worked off at Moratuwa. By virtue of this victory Cambrians are leading their group and qualified for the pre-quarters.

Batting first visitors were all out for 121 runs and in reply at stumps Cambrians were 333 for 9 with Shyma Gunarathne and Mahinsa de Silva scoring 66 runs and unbeaten 72 runs respectively. Thanusha Navin bowled claiming best for the visitors 3/37.
